3/1/2003 - Lights, Camera, Action! Dawson's Creek Films A Scene For One Of Its Final Episodes, At Surgical Eye Care
The Dawson's Creek production crew selected Surgical Eye Care as the setting of a dentist's office for a scene in one of its final episodes. The entire production crew showed up with all its necessary equipment. The transformation was amazing. In the matter of minutes, the lights, cameras, actors and directors were all in position. Not many changes needed to be made to the office, other than adding a dentist's picture and some model teeth for the reception area.
After several rehearsals, the actors and crew were ready to shoot the scene, which involved Pacey, (Joshua Jackson) asking for a donation from the dentist. After much deliberation, Pacey's charm and charisma finally win over the dentist and she agrees to donate the money.
It only took three hours for everyone to be satisfied with the performances. The director announced, "that's a rap!" and just like that, the lights and cameras were packed up and were ready to move on to the next location.
