5/1/2000 - Dr. Alan W. Brown Performs LASIK On Meteorologist, Chris Marshall

On May 25, 2000, Dr. Brown performed live LASIK surgery on local Meteorologist, Chris Marshall, from WECT-TV6. The excitement began to build as a bad storm was brewing in the area. Dr. Brown advised the audience that he wanted to wait until the storm passed, rather than risk a power failure. Chris kept the audience abreast of the storm after checking his radar on the internet. Once the storm passed, Chris underwent his LASIK surgery. The very next morning at 5:30AM, he reported from the USS North Carolina Battleship, thrilled with how well he could see, in such a short amount of time after his surgery.
