2/2/2002 - Dr. Alan W. Brown Appears on Carolina In The Morning To Talk About New Cataract Technology

Surgical Eye Care's, Dr. Alan W. Brown appeared on the Carolina In The Morning program to tell viewers about Sonolase, a new technology for removing cataracts with ultrasound energy. Dr. Brown explained that he was only one of twenty ophthalmologists in the U.S. chosen for the study involving this exciting new technology. "The cataract is dissolved with soundwave energy and is more gentle than standard phaco cataract surgery," said Dr. Brown.
